Making all blog posts accessible to logged in users

Postby admin » Sat Nov 19, 2016 3:05 pm

By default, all posts are accessible to "Everyone". If your blog has hundreds or thousands of posts and you want to make them only accessible to 'logged in' or 'logged out' users, rather than setting up access permissions post by post (with for example the Ultimate Member plugin), you can simply do it massively by their categories.

Every post has a category, so if your blog has 3000 posts in 10 categories, then you'll have to change category access settings 10 times.

Go to Admin panel => Posts => Categories.
Content Availability.
Content accessible to Logged In Users.

You can also assign who of your members can see:
Roles who can see the content (e.g. member).

If you wish to add visual documentation (screenshots), make a donation and we'll let you know when the post has been updated

And, if our post has provided you with great information, there are a few ways you can show your appreciation:
  1. Like us on Facebook.- Our account had recently a hacking problem on FB and we were forced to create a new one. We lost all our posts & likes. :(
  2. Send us a testimonial.- Testimonials thanking for our good team work can be valuable to us and may encourage others to seek our support.
  3. Post a review.- Posting a good review about this site could also compel others to seek our advice & support.

Thank You!
