[CSS] Embedding css into html page

Postby admin » Sun Mar 19, 2017 7:59 pm

The simplest way:
Code: Select all
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="mystyles.css" media="screen" />

Directly into an html file (2 methods):

Method 1
Code: Select all
<style media="screen" type="text/css">

Add css style rules here, remeber that it needs to be curly bracketed ({ })

Method 2
Code: Select all
<style type="text/css">
body {
   background-image: url(images/index4.jpg);
   background-repeat: no-repeat;
   position: relative ;
   background-position:top center ;
.acv2 {
  height: 34px;
  margin-bottom: 13px;
  margin-top: 24px;
  width: 147px;

.enter {
  border-radius: 5px 5px 5px 5px;
  font-size: 11px;
  font-style: inherit;
  letter-spacing: 2px;
  margin: -8px 0 -11px -72px;
  padding: 0;
  width: 128px;
  z-index: 1;
  margin-right: 10px;

You can also insert style rules directly into the html:
Code: Select all
<h2 style="color:red;background:black;">This is a red heading with a black background</h2>

Or, import a css file from your site library:
Code: Select all
@import "newstyles.css";
