How to insert html anchors to a page (links)

How to insert html anchors to a page (links)

Some times we want to create a link to a section in a page, example, your homepage, to redirect users to an exact spot.

Go to Admin panel (left side menu) > Pages > Edit

locate the section and enter BEFORE the following code:
Code: Select all
<a name="anchor"></a>What you want people to read.

Or try:
Code: Select all
<a name="anchor">What you want people to read.</a>

Then you can create a link like this:
Code: Select all
http://your-site.com/#anchor

You can have the link in text like so:
Code: Select all
<a href="http://your-site.com/#anchor">Please read this</a>

The same concept can be applied if you use text widgets with the Page Builder by SiteOrigin plugin.
Obviously you need to change "your-site" with your domain and give "anchor" a proper name.

  1. Like us on Facebook.- Our account had recently a hacking problem on FB and we were forced to create a new one. We lost all our posts & likes. :(
  2. Send us a testimonial.- Testimonials thanking for our good team work can be valuable to us and may encourage others to seek our support.
  3. Post a review.- Posting a good review about this site could also compel others to seek our advice & support.

Thank You!
